The Generator – 2013

The Generator was a programme for fast track business and market development for outstanding disabled producers & creative film talent run in partnership with Creative Skillset, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and the Sheffield University Management School.

It was a focused and high-level training and development programme to raise the market and business development skills of an outstanding generation of disabled film talent to enable them to drive projects and establish and run businesses.

The programme took 12 participants through a 2 day workshop in Sheffield on pitching and market preparation and then a 5 day industry immersion programme at the Edinburgh Film Festival in June followed by a final 2 day workshop in Sheffield focusing on entrepreneurial thinking and strategy & business development strategies in partnership with The Management School at Sheffield University.
